Leaving on a jet plane........

coming home with a new baby boy real soon!!!!

Shawn is getting ready, I will be soon. Patty will be here in less than 2 hours. Horrible nights sleep again. My head is throbbing, sneezing like crazy. BUT I am calm :)

To all my FB friends leaving me notes, THANK YOU!!!!!

To everyone that will read this, THANK YOU for praying for us and helping to bring us to this journey. Your support is immeasurable.

I've gotten some wonderful news too right before my departure. I cannot share right now, but I can say this GOD IS TRULY AMAZING!!!!!! TRULY!!!!!!!!

As soon as I can share that news I will, it does not pertain to me, so I am not at liberty to speak about it right now.

Please keep praying, the prayers are working. Soon, we will be in flight and heading eastward. Pray travel mercies for my cousin Patty too as she will be driving us down to the airport and coming back home in her car too.

See you on the flipside! I will update when I can and I will leave you with this awesome quote, shared by a friend,

"You see adoption is more than giving a child an earthly forever family. Adoption is the ultimate discipleship. Adoption is about introducing them to the one who planned their rescue in the first place. That they would know Jesus, that they would live for him, that God's plan for their lives would be discovered and lived out. That's what this is all about. ~~ Dwight Saunders".

I cannot wait to get Jadon home and Dedicated :)

Love,

"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV)

Packed!

We are officially PACKED! I repacked the suitcase that carries my clothing and Jadon's. Rolled it all, took out some stuff too. I am now only taking (3) 18 months size clothing outfits and (3) 24 months size clothing outfits, onesies and socks for him and his winter coat, hat, and gloves.

Shawn and I, each, are taking just 2 pair of jeans and our dress slacks and a total of 5 shirts for our big clothing items. Lots of socks and undies though!

We have two rolling suitcases and two backpacks. We are also bringing a stroller for Jadon too.

Jackson told me tonight he loves me and he loves Jadon too. He really seems to "get" that his baby brother is coming home soon.

Jared is with is dad. I cleaned his room up some today, remade his bed and wrote him a note.

Joseph is on the mend. He has/had (is getting over) a sinus infection. We saw Dr. Jones today for some amoxil to be on the safe side.

I am tired, run down and generally not sleeping well. I need to finish up cleaning tomorrow.

days til we leave :)

T minus 84 hours

Crazy we leave here in 3 days and 12 hours to head for the airport.

Tomorrow, I need to reconfirm our flights. I am all packed. We bought our scale to weigh our luggage tonight and (tested it by lifting Jackson by a belt loop! HAHAHA) our luggage locks too.

I am fully packed, so is Jadon. I called PayPal so they know we will be using our debit card over there and we are pretty well set. I have been cleaning trying to get this place in order before we leave.

I am physically exhausted, so off to beddy-by for me. Night!

Josiah.....

My heart just breaks for Josiah

Josiah MUST find his home. He was transferred from his baby house in October 2010 and quickly began to "lose himself" by regressing and losing weight. He is in a Level 4 institution now. Little stimulation abounds. I've been reassured by the mom there that this place is not as harsh as some. She has even shared the director is very caring towards the children.

PLEASE share his RR page. If you are NOT his parents, PRAY HIM HOME!!!!!!

This is what his RR page reads

Josiah is SO handsome! Olive skin, and dark hair with beautiful deep brown eyes.
Josiah is all boy! Very active and doing well. He was born with an additional chord to the left ventricle, and has a functional systolic murmur. But you'd never know it!

From an adoptive family who visited with him in May 2010: "This cutie pie had just woken up from his nap, so he was not feeling over smiley. He was very pleasant and followed the commands of his caretaker. He appropriately pointed to his ears, eyes, nose, bottom and hands after she asked him to show her wher each part was. He loves to throw the ball back and forth with someone. He is well developed and proportional. He is a big boy."

From an adoptive family who visited with him in April 2011: "Josiah was transfered to his current place in October, 2010. He has lost a noticeable amount of weight. He is desperate for personal attention and stimulation. The caretakers at the orphanage really do not know what to do with him. He is very outgoing and has a huge smile for anyone that is willing to give him the time of day. He gets along well with the other children in the groupa and listens well to his caretakers. He walks and runs, and plays, and feeds himself, but he seems to have slipped into survival mode here and is regessing fast. I feel VERY STRONGLY that he needs out of this place!"

$1208.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!

My heart just breaks, Dear God in Heaven, your will be done, but, Dear Lord, I beg you, send Josiah's family soon for him.
In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
