"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV)

No Council meeting for us
We were ready this morning and on time; however, our documents were not. Sooo, while we visited Jadon our "courier" took our documents over to Council for us. By the time we got there or decision had already been declared by the Council.
WE HAVE PERMISSION to appeal to the courts. Which we will do today in 30 minutes! Peanut is tiny! Just 28 inches tall and his wee bean is 17 inches around!

We met Jadon!
We are in Jadon's region!!! We arrived a little over 14 hours ago now. We were able to rush and see Jadon, agree to commit to him, start paperwork and go to our apartment.
Thank God, Serge took us to lunch or we would have never eaten yesterday. Right now, we are waiting our taxi to bring us to Council meeting to get their approval to move forward and then we will apply for court.
I can also officially say I have gone in excessive 120 mph in a BMW...thank you, Serge :) I was praying during that short, but very fast jaunt.
Here are some pictures of our travel over, meeting Jadon and our apartment. More tonight or tomorrow. We have much running to do today.

What a time
Where to begin? Ahhh, our flight from Indy to DC.
Well, each flight was delayed in some fashion either coming or going. However, each flight was smooth and agreeable. Lufthansa did not live up to our expectations but was good nonetheless.
We arrived in Kiev on Monday 3 hours late and then stopped at the grocery to get some minimal items at the grocery store, then dropped off the Rogers family at their apartment and we came to ours. Tried internet to no avail, so we went to sleep.
Tuesday, still no internet so we walked to Independence Square and went to McDonald's to use WiFi and get a coke. Walked around for a while then came back to apartment. Called Niko about our internet issues and was told to wait for internet guy. This was before noon. We waited, waited, napped and waited. 6 o'clock came and I called Niko and said we had to go eat and he reported internet guy will be there at 8 o'clock. He came at 8:48 and spent about 30 minutes getting it working. We FINALLY could contact home, so we Skyped and talked to the kids. Then hit the hay just after midnight.
Wednesday, we woke up at 7 a.m. to get ready for Eugene to pick us up at 9 for our SDA appointment to get our referral to MEET Jadon. We arrived at our destination, met Serge and he explained what would happen at SDA. Our appointment was first. HOWEVER, they would not see us. Turns out a paper was missing from his file. A few cups of tea and a margherita pizza from Celentano's later we have our appointment finally.
We know Jadon's region and birthdate, some health information and that he has a biological sister. That really tugged at my heartstrings. We got 2 more pictures of Jadon!!! I was able to choose one, Serge simply took the other and gave it to me.
Then after our SDA we went sight seeing on foot with Eugene and the Rogers family. Got some great pictures too and then finished up the afternoon with dinner at TGIFriday's of course!
Until next time!
Love,
