He can be trusted with a juice box even! He will sit it down, eat for a bit, then go for a drink all on his own :) Now, if I could just get him to do that with food and not cram it all in at once we'd be aces :)
He is no longer the tiny, well-under 20 lb. newborn-like child we came home with; Jadon is a full-fledged toddler. He has nearly doubled his coming home weight in 9 months time. He babbles, he plays, he chases kids, he LOVES his blankie that we brought to Ukraine with us when we left to bring him home. He gives kisses. He COLORS!
He is AMAZING!!!!! Our family is blessed beyond measure to have been able to add him to our family. Jared adores his baby brother, Jackson absolutely LOVES to mother-hen Jadon too. Joseph doesn't sit on him as much as when we brought him home ;) Daddy loves his baby boy and, well, momma is just amazed to be the momma to 4 boys today. Me...I'd have never imagined.
So, I'd like to share three pictures. The first two were taken September 29, 2011 and the last one, taken today just after Jadon got out of the pool today...9 months home :)
love,

"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV)

btw, what is it with kids sitting on other kids. Ellie does the same thing to her buddy Jack. I don't get it. . .
AWWW!!! I just love him! What a cutie pie. He was one of the first little ones to steal my heart on RR and now I am sitting here, typing this, with my own little adopted son on my lap. God is so good!!!
Awwww...Jadon!!!! Auntie Cathy is so proud of how far you've come. Sweet boy!
Happy 9 months big boy! I could just eat those cheeks of his!
