Steven Johnson Syndrome and TENS

Pardon the quickness and brevity of this blog post. One of my most beloved sisters in the T21 community's son is sick right now with something called Stevens Johnson Syndrome and, also, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (SJS and TEN). Please educate yourself on this condition. I will not be sharing pictures of Bear here, but trust me when I say his recovery is going to take a while.

If you would like to help this family you can do several things. Leave me a comment (I WILL NOT BE PUBLISHING THESE COMMENTS) with your email address and I will let you know how to send a note through the hospital support a patient website. Also, if you are local to this family and would like to sign up to take them a meal, let me know. I am considering hosting a chip-in to raise money to alleviate a bit of the financial burden that will come with Julie not working for a while too.
