Anyhow, a lady walked up to our table and said, "Your children are so well behaved...and this one here is so handsome (she was speaking of Jadon)." Then she asked if we were in the paper recently, I told her yes, we had been.
She began to tear up, and said, "my great-grandson had just been born around that time to my 18 year old grand-daughter and he has Down too and your story was such an inspiration to me".
I immediately said, "CONGRATULATIONS"!
She nearly began to cry....her voice broke, she lay her hand on her chest and said, emphatically, "THANK YOU." Through tears, she continued, "No one, not one person, has said to me, congratulations. Thank you."
She continued to talk to us for just a bit and then she left... I am so grateful for that moment to share with her.
God don't make no junk, y'all.

I loved this blog. We are in process of adopting 2 girls, one is blind, and Vessy has DS. So many people have been less than understanding (definately not congratulating) why we be doing this. It's hard to explain to people that don't understand the joy in obeying Gods following. But we do, and soon our 2 girls will know joy!
