37 hours and counting

We now have Jadon's passport in Kiev. We go for medical tomorrow at 9 a.m. then Embassy Interview at 2 p.m. Assuming all is well with the doctor we will leave Kiev at 0535 Saturday October 15th.

That means 37 hours from now we will be starting our first leg home and that means that in 35 hours we will be heading to the airport! WOOHOOO!!! It cannot come fast enough. Truly.

No new pictures, we spent the day in the car today. I've got a horrendous headache. Our driver in Kiev is supposed to be coming to take Shawn to McDonald's because I ain't cookin'. Not here.

Love,

"I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV)

I can't believe the trip home is about to begin. God is so faithful!!! I'm so proud of you, my sister-in-Christ, for answering His call.

Watching this adoption unfold from when I was introduced to you on Patti's blog has been eye opening, inspiring and lovely to watch! God is using you and your family in HUGE ways to help Jadon, of course, but I know your story and Jadon's story is a testament to God's glory and is changing hearts all over. I cannot wait to see how your step in faith brings other orphans home to loving families!!

Hugs, Christy
