The Andrew God sent

I had a lady send a donation last month to our paypal account; along with it she sent a note stating who she was and HOPING we didn't mind her leaving a note. She tutors a young man with Down syndrome and he has been praying for (Andriy) Jadon for a while now. They were very happy to see our family commit to Jadon.

I just received this note today, this morning actually.

Hi Christie,

I have been eagerly following your blog. In fact, when Andrew and I meet for our weekly tutoring session, we read your blog for updates. Then we google terms he doesn't understand. He's been reading his Ukrainian travel books for you; he recommends the Foger's guide. Andrew loves his travel books and almanacs.

Yesterday, I asked him if he would like to write an email to you and I would send it on. Here is his letter to your family as written:

Andrew T

I hope you can make it out. I have forwarded his donation to your Paypal account.

Kim

I had hoped I would be writing this blog this morning telling you our travel date...so far? No word has yet come. BUT, it is coming--just don't know when.

I sent an email back to Andrew T and told him God knew all about his prayers for Andriy and that must be why he laid the middle name Andrew on my heart.

Makes my heart swell and my eyes a bit misty, such a sweet young man blessing our adoption. Thank you, Kim and Andrew T.

That was beautiful! So happy I can read your blog again on fast US Internet...

Did u know St. Andrew (bro of St. Peter) is the patron saint of Ukraine? Legend said he visited Kiev and pronounced that it would be a Christian country, the big orthodox church in his honor ( on the hill he supposedly visited) is right next door to the SDA!!

Girl, you know how to make me cry. Andrew T sounds like an amazing young man who is wise and generous. He reminded me that people are GOOD.

As for the name Andrew--you know my thoughts. My Andrew is love and joy, just like Andrew T, and Jadon Andrew.
