Today in the Reece's Rainbow community we learned of another angel who grew his wings and went home to his forever family. That child was Warner.
He was "on hold" for his family...yet he never knew their love.
This next child. NEEDS HIS FAMILY NOW...I've been waiting too long to post for him. The time is now. Period.
This is the boy I will never forget. I pledge to do all I can to help find this 6 year old boy named Sasha his forever home. I pray that he does not live out the rest of his days in the institution--a place where NO one, let alone a fragile child belongs.
My own adoption story is what brought me to Sasha. I've learned so much throughout our journey. What I have come to realize and hold true is this, God loves these children more than I can possibly imagine. God is with them even in the stifling confines of the institution.
Why does he need to suffer so? I have no answer for that. Why hasn't a family snatched him up and taken him away? I have no answer for that. Will his family ever come forward? I have no answer for that but I pray they do. And if they don't? My heart bleeds for Sasha and may God be with him and love him so.
I am not done championing for him. I will focus on Sasha and finding him his forever family and if he goes to heaven before having a family hear on Earth, I will grieve his loss and rejoice in that blessing.
Please, if you are his momma come forward--he cannot wait. If you know his momma--tell her, he cannot wait. If you have compassion in your heart for "the least of these"...scream Sasha's story from every outlet you have. You see, I owe it to him. He is the reason I found Alexander. God used this precious angel Sasha to show me Alexander.
I am blessed to weep for Sasha. I am blessed with the burden of sharing his story. Please help Sasha. Please---he cannot wait.

Beautifully written and very moving. I am agreeing with Penny's assessment--one of your best. Let's get Sasha a home!
I am praying with you, friend.
Beautiful and powerful...praying. Love you!
That was a great post. I will pray too. He is precious!
I have met Sasha personally and I can tell you he is such a sweet boy!! PLEASE don't let his skinny frame deter you. He has lots of life in him!! With the simple love of a mommy and daddy and some much needed nourishment, I KNOW he will flourish!
