Today, I mailed our immigration paperwork packet to Lewisville, TX. It will arrive by 10:30 Monday morning. This is the last piece we needed to travel to get our child. HOWEVER, getting it accomplished now does nothing to help us travel before the new entity reopens and that is likely to be in the fall.
Shawn and I have decided to stay the course and continue on as if the shut down/slow down were not happening. God has brought us this far, we will not quit on Him now.
Keep praying for everyone attempting to adopt right now. This is certainly a journey not meant for the timid :)

We're staying the course too. Hoping our daughter's special need is added to the list whenever the new adoption authority reopens. I'm praying for us all that it won't be too long.
