Another bump in the road.....

Well it seems our documents I sent out never made it to their destination, apparently we should never use USPS for mailing anything over there. I was only going to use them for this set and nothing else---now, I certainly know better.

Still waiting for the homestudy so it is not like we have don't have time to do this. I just wish we didn't have too.

Fundraiser is still going for 6 more days.

Before I knew you

I never knew what I was missing

I never knew love could be so pure

I was a mother once before you

Before you I was not a bad person or a bad mommy but….

I am a better person for the time that has come since you came to me.

For my sweet Joseph, you have taught your mommy so very much and I love you all the more for it.

My Blessed Child
My child, my love.
You are my gift.
The one I never dreamed of.

So sweet and pure
With a smile to light the room
when the world seems a blur.

I could hold you tight

but then again...

I think I won’t
for that just wouldn’t be right.

You are a teacher, a mover,a mind-changer
You will likely never know a stranger.

47 chromosomes have made you blessed.
To change the world,
on our shoulders the task now rests.

For a little while longer
I will hold you close and show you the way. Then I will set you free
