C is for......

COMPASSION, which by its very definition, means: deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it.

I am amazed at the support and compassion we are being shown by virtual strangers. I am in awe of the compassion of other families walking this mile alongside us. I am inspired by the compassion of those families who are already home with their children today. I am grateful for the compassion Andrea Roberts is driven by daily to help save children like my son Joseph and my soon to be rescued son Alexander.

Because of her compassion Reece's Rainbow exists today. Because of compassion more people are aware of the plight of Eastern European orphans born with Down syndrome as well as other disabilities. Because of Andrea's mission, I will become a mother for the the fourth time to a gorgeous little boy--Alexander.

Compassion is a wondrous emotion and state and call to action.
