I also know there are some wonderful people who are dedicated to raising money for Alexander. Let's pray the family wanting to bring him to his forever home are blessed in the journey and that God's financial provisions fill his fund quickly. Time is of the essence.
HELP! I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED!!
Meet Alexander, he was born April 13, 2005. (the baby house he WAS at shave the kids' heads in the summer)

Alexander has been listed with Reece's Rainbow for more than 2 years, and not a soul has ever inquired about him. Up until now, the only photos we have had of him were laying down in a crib, never showing him up and mobile and active! But look at him!! What a great smile, and so much life in him!
Alexander is a handsome little boy who really needs a loving family. He has light brown hair and blue eyes.
Look, I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news, we have had so much to share and rejoice in during the past 3 to 5 days with Peter being rescued. Alexander was still in the baby house last year, he has now been transferred to an institution. If Alexander is NOT SAVED and his FAMILY does NOT come forward by April 13, 2011 all the money in his adoption fund (which is $7,626.00) will be removed from his fund and he will be LOCKED away to wither away and die and this will likely happen within the first year of being in the mental institution.
HE DESERVES BETTER THAN THAT!!
Please help him, donate, pray!!!!!!!
this will take you to his page to donate http://reecesrainbow.org/alexander-20
OR you can donate by sending a check and sending a note that says it is FOR ALEXANDER (50) who has already been transferred.

Christie, really, you are killing me with these tear-jerker posts. Between you and Patti, I am tearing up all the time! That said, I am HAPPY you have the courage and strength to blog about these dear children. Keep us all aware of the horrors in other parts of world and keep reminding us that we CAN make a difference.
LOVE this post and so great chatting with you last night -- we need to get this kid a family! He deserves to be loved and played with and hugged by his mom forever!
Corbett :)
He is one lucky boy!! I just love my fellow mommies with Ds children. We just do know how to come together don't we!! I could kiss this family right now :)
YIPPPPPEEEE!! (wash, rinse, repeat;))
So glad you are getting sweet Alexander. Our family has been advocating for him for months!! We've been yelling with Gretchen and everyone and I am just so glad that he has been found!
